Wild Abalonesteak from Baja California is hand picked and selected to produce the very best Abalone steaks. Abalone is stripped, trimmed, pounded, and tenderized to create a very tender steak with a mild and sweet flavor. Serve as an hors d'oeuvre, appetizer, or entrée.
Steaks are individually frozen and are 2 ounces each.
Reminder, these steaks are already tenderized and it is Chef's recommendation to handle the steaks very carefully while cooking!
Wild Abalone Steak
These steaks can age for up to 4 days in the cooler, and tend to get richer with a few days of age. We also recommend re-pounding these even further with a tenderizing mallet if you want them extra tender and capable of cutting with a fork. Simply Bread them with our Panko Bread Crumbs, and fry in a mixture of half Olive Oil and half Butter for approx 2 minutes per side, maximum.
